LOST FORK OF HAMM CREEK

We created a vision plan for the restoration of the “Lost Fork” of Hamm Creek which existed largely in pipes through the industrial and residential neighborhood of South Park. Implementation included Turkey Duck Pond, restoration of an historic pond beloved in the memory of elder South Park residents, and daylighting the creek along Marra Farm Park. These projects improve habitat for fish and other wildlife in the corridor, provide educational opportunities and bring critical access to nature in this low-income neighborhood.
