SEWARD PARK COMPREHENSIVE TRAIL PLAN

The comprehensive trail plan guides trail related site stewardship, maintenance, and capital improvements for Seward Park, one of Seattleā€™s largest parks, notable for its undeveloped native forest and three miles of shoreline. Historically, naturally, and recreationally significant, the 300-acre park poses questions for public discussion such as how to balance maximizing public access with protecting sensitive natural resources and what are appropriate details for foot paths ranging from urban promenades to primitive trails.

The goal of the stone trail post design is to provide adequate wayfinding while minimizing visually disruptive signage in the park.
